Importation of baggage and personal effects: Are there any customs procedures?

Yes, the entry of goods of any nature into a non-EEC territory is subject to customs clearance. This operation can be carried out by you, or through us depending on the formula you have chosen. It is possible that customs wishes to check the contents of the baggage, this inspection may result in additional costs (inspection, storage).

Customs duties and taxes on personal effects.

In certain cases, customs duties and taxes will have to be paid, even if in most countries around the world, used personal effects more than 6 months old are exempt from customs duties and taxes. Only port/airport taxes will therefore have to be paid.
